``These statements end up sounding narcissistic but I've always loved artistic expression through any medium, from music to photography, and writing to film. I love creating something from nothing, something which ultimately affects someone; it's a cliche, but the ability to convey emotion in any creative way is the reason behind why.``

Favourite type of edit:
Something with some room to breathe, time to absorb the details, films with humanity and emotional connection. Arresting films don’t need to be fast paced, glitzy and glossy to stop me in my tracks. Sometimes it’s the notes you don’t play which sound the loudest.
I recently read a book about two friends who rode their motorcycles from Brooklyn to the tip of Argentina. They documented the trip with stunning photographs and it was incredibly romantic and intoxicating to read about the drive, the passion, the pitfalls, terrors, camaraderie, and overwhelming joy of riding that far on two wheels. I'd love to create a long-form, multi-part documentary which tries to explain the almost spiritual act of riding a motorcycle. I've got a not-so-secret desire to channel my inner Louis Theroux, maybe even on camera, talking to motorcycle gangs, racers, custom builders and everyone in between, but as long as we end up on the Bonneville salt flats I'll be happy.
