    Genpact wanted a video testimonial showcasing their partnership with Envision Racing focusing on radio analytics while highlighting their teams’ wider purpose in a rich, engaging format. The aim of the film was to demonstrate how digital technologies help Envision unlock fast insights from unstructured data, to help make tangible differences to race strategy and on track performance.

    It had to be exciting, emotive and easy to understand with a focus on creativity to differentiate it from standard partnership case study videos.

    Our process

    Having worked with Envision previously we knew the location and environment we would be working in. Knowing that the client wanted something which was visually striking and of high production value,  we got to work proposing a neon-heavy look and feel to mirror the energy of the Formula E sport and ethos.

    Envision had recently updated their branding from purples and reds to an electric blue and green so we were keen to enhance this in the video. Our initial plans of shooting after dark were compounded by driver schedules, meaning daytime only, and for the usual limited time. With black out blinds and curtains we managed to light the huge race bays with multiple blue LED-lights. Eight astera tube lights, all set to the same green RGB value as the car, were positioned in the background to create depth and interest for the interviews.

    Once we had interviewed the key personnel, team principal, drivers and engineers, and were confident we had all the key messaging points covered, we had the opportunity to have some fun!

    Envision allowed us unrestricted access to the Formula E race car and drivers, and with a combination of LED panels and Astera tubes we captured b-roll of Nick, Robin and the car to help support the narrative we were building.

    Deliverables

    We created a hero piece for use on Genpact’s corporate website as well as shorter cutdowns for promotional use on their social channels such as LinkedIn.
