Details & Storyline
Overview
Teamviewer are a partner of the Mercedes Formula 1 Racing team. They were keen to raise brand awareness for three of their products, HoloLens, Frontline Assist and AR. Teamviewer invited George Russell along to the studio to help see their latest technology and try a few challenges out for himself. Most famous for their remote desktop assistance, TeamViewer were keen to raise awareness of their additional suite of products, all aimed at facilitating remote working.
Our process
With a blank canvas, literally a large white infinity cove, we were given the task of leading the creative direction. Time with the drivers is always tight and we only had three hours with George to capture all product interactions, as well as client messaging piece to cameras and a live video conference call with his old school using TeamViewer classroom. George Russell would be interacting with technology which could show a full sized Formula 1 car so we needed the space to be large and uncluttered. We decided on creating structure and interest using Astera tube lights, coloured for each of the three products. Lighting, cameras and sound were set the night before with full run-throughs so that George could step in and do his thing.Â
Deliverables
A hero piece for each of the products along with associated Twitter friendly cut-downs.
The nature of the HoloLens and Frontline assist glasses means that they show augmented reality and live picture in picture video respectively. We needed to create 3D assets of the Mercedes Formula 1 car to be projected in front of George as he talked through the relevant parts of the car.
