Overview

Data plays a crucial role in the success of McLaren Racing. By collecting, analysing and utilising data, the team is able to gain insights into the performance of their cars, drivers, and engineering processes. This allows them to make informed decisions that optimise the performance of their vehicles, improve their racing strategies, and increase their chances of winning.

The IT Rig at McLaren Racing plays a crucial role in the team's success on the track. It is a mobile and self-contained unit that houses all the necessary computing and networking equipment to support the team's race operations.  The IT Rig also provides the team with the necessary communication tools to stay in touch with their engineers and strategists at the track and back at their headquarters.

In this episode, we go behind the scenes at the McLaren Technology Centre to hear how Splunk help support the IT Rig and give data-driven insights.
