Technics – Krafty Kuts

Overview

With the release of the SL-1210 Mk7, the latest incarnation of  Technics’ renowned turntables, we enlisted the help of one of the UK’s biggest breakbeat DJs, Krafty Kuts, to help promote the brand offering across all releases of the 1210 Turntables.

Our process

We love music, and even had a set of SL-1210s when we were young wannabe DJs so this project was an exciting one. We were responsible for the entire process, including storyboarding, talent negotiation, location scouting and venue hire, narrative construction, filming and editing.

Deliverables

We decided on an episodic release to maximise the reach and exposure of the brand. By shooting multiple interviews and B-roll on one day with a lightweight crew we are able to bank a huge amount of content for slow release, whilst keeping within the budget.
